UAE Public Sector Innovation Framework (PSIF)

Building on the first framework launched in 2015, the UAE’s Public Sector Innovation Framework focuses on driving innovation efforts and programs towards defining the strategic aspirations of the government and achieving the national priorities. It focuses on measurable impact, supporting national priorities, and transforming government operations to deliver meaningful results for society.

The new framework defines three key pillars of innovation:

Innovation Intelligence: Aligning efforts with strategic priorities, building networks and ecosystems, and diversifying sources of inspiration and ideas

Innovation Possibilities: Reimagining government work, building a culture of prototyping and experimentation, and developing scalable innovations that meet national needs

Innovation Multipliers: Scaling successful prototypes and experiments, institutionalizing practices to amplify the impact of innovation, and sharing knowledge and outcomes
